Gas or bloating is a troublesome complaint. It usually means burping,
belching, fullness or tightness of the stomach which is aggravated by
oily meals or overeating or intolerance to certain food items. It also means
passing large amount of gas from rectum.
Cause of gas can be a due to following serious problems.
1. Food IntoleranceCommonest is milk intolerance. Pulses, like to Chana, besan, Rajma, Chhole and certain beans can produce excess of flatus and burping. |

2. Gastrointestinal InfectionChronic infections like Helicobactor infection in stomach or parasitic infections, like Giardia Lamblia. |

4. Stomach ProblemsGas in your stomach is primarily caused by swallowing air when you eat or drink. Gas forms in your large intestine (colon) when bacteria ferment carbohydrates, some starches and some sugars aren't digested in your small intestine. There are some health conditions can cause you to have more gas than usual. 1. Ulcer in the stomach 2. Cancer of stomach , 3. Obstruction of stomach outlet, diminished motility of stomach. |

5. Overgrowth Of BacteriaBody always maintains a proper balance between good and bad bacteria. Overgrowth of harmful bacteria in the small intestine produces indigestion, gas with burping or foul flatus. |
